Should We Have a Xat Chat

We are going to be hosting a vote, do we what Xat on our forum.

Xat is far superior to forumotion default chat in my opinion because:

1) Xat chat alerts you when new users join the chatbox and when new replies are given, thus you can wait for someone to show up, and then quickly respond once someone does. With Forumotion Chat you must literally stare at the screen to see if anyone entered the chatroom or if there was a new reply. Chatrooms shouldn't have to be babysat to work. That's basic.

2) Xat chat is like free advertisement. People come to our chatbox from Xat.com and can see our community firsthand, and then we can quickly direct them to the forums. It is great advertisement, and it's free!

3) As Panikoskun mentioned, the smilies and avatars are better on Xat and the chatroom is more colorful, better to look at. The forumotion chat is quite dull, really.

4) Xat chat does not require people to sign up to use it. Therefore, guests who are 'on the fence' about joining can talk to us on the chatbox, and see that we are actually an active community (that's how I got here, after all!)

5) The data shows that Xat chat was more popular. There have been no conversations in the past 24 hours, and only one conversation total since the chatbox was added.

I think that Xat has been a great addition to the expansion of the site and to the site's quality, therefore I urge you to continue use of Xat chat. Thank you for considering~~~~

Also, those of you who do perfer forumotion chat, please explain why. Because I don't see how it is better.

As I stated before I do agree that xat.com is superior to the one that we have now. If we can somehow get back to it then I am all for it.

If we cannot then I will be okay with the one that we have now.

Well I do agree to install this chat box for it'll make the users know each other and can easily get interacting with other users. And besides it'll help us to get further infos about anything in this forum. In any case, I agree with this..

Ven, the vote is now strongly in Xat's favor. And since there has been no Xat chatbox, there has been almost no activity at all on the site. Quit being blind and add Xat's chatbox back.

Well I really agree to add a chat box, because it will greatly help all of us and it will be hassle-free!
It would also be a fun way to talk to each other!
